Underwear varies from different sizes and shapes around the world.
Female:
Thongs
Thongs are sometimes worn to reduce the panty lines when wearing tight clothing. They are often uncomfortable to wear but some find it to their liking.
Panties
Panties are the most often used underwear. It is often worn with clothing such as jeans that do not outline its panty lines. Unlike the thong, wearing panties with tight clothes would easily reveal the outline of it.
Boy Shorts
Boy shorts are a type of panties with sides that extend lower to the thigh. This can also be worn with tight clothing for those who find thongs uncomfortable. Boy Shorts are a female version of boxer briefs, which are for men.
Male:
Boxer Briefs
These have elastic waistbands and are much more secure than regular boxers. Like women, men find these more comfortable, or less comfortable. Boxer briefs are worn when you want to feel comfortable, or even when you go to bed.
Boxers
Boxers are worn mostly when going out or even at home. It also varies because everyone has their different opinions for each different type of underwear they would like to wear. They're much more loose than boxer briefs, although their waist band is tighter.
