This website is about trains. Trains run to help people commute and transporting goods. Trains run all over the world. In the United States, trains have been transporting goods and passengers since the early 1900s because it was a reliable source of transportation.

2. Passenger Trains
3. Light Rail Trains/Streetcars
Freight trains carry a lot of cargo. Some railroads that operate freight trains are: Union Pacific, CSX, Burlington Northern; Santa Fe, etc. All of the freight railroad companies use diesel locomotives because they have a big amount of power. Light rail trains run on electrified rail, which is why they are called light rails.
