Introduction

Pho is a delectable Vietnamese noodle soup dish made with thin rice noodles called bánh pho, broth, some herbs, and meat (usually beef or chicken).

Since its inception in the early 20th century in northern Vietnam, it has become a popular street food in Vietnam. Thanks to Vietnam War refugees around the world, its popularity has spread around the world and is now a well-known food item among foreigners.
