Farfalle Pasta
Farfalle pasta is a popular Italian pasta in the shape of a bow tie. In fact, some producers call their farfalle “bow tie pasta” to make it seem more friendly to non-Italian speaking consumers. The shape is fairly versatile, and can be used in a range of dishes. Most markets stock farfalle pasta, since it is popular and reasonably well known among consumers. - 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 pound sweet Italian sausages, casings removed
- 1/2 teaspoon dried crushed red pepper
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 28-ounce can crushed tomatoes with added puree
- 1/2 cup whipping cream
- 1 pound farfalle
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh basil
- Freshly grated Pecorino Romano cheese(or different type depending on you)
