Jokes aside, coffee is a brewed beverage prepared from the roasted seeds of the coffea plant. Slightly acidic, coffee contains caffeine and can have a stimulating effect on humans. It is one of the most-consumed beverages in the world. Grown in over 70 different countries in various different types, coffee is a highly traded commodity.
Proper scientific studies show that 11/10 people like to drink coffee. Just kidding! No research was conducted to get those numbers. However, in a survey conducted among the American people, 54% of the people over the age of 18 drinks coffee everyday, 68% of the population of coffee-drinkers say that they consume a cup of coffee within the first hour of waking. 34% of American coffee-drinkers go to premium coffee spots such as Starbucks and Coffee Bean, while 29% of the coffee-drinkers go to low priced outlets like McDonald's or Dunkin Donuts.
