What is a MOBA?

MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) - A multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) is a game genre known as action real-time strategy (RTS). Unlike traditional RTS games, MOBAs don't include unit construction. Instead the players control a single character at once. Each character in each game has unique attributes and skills that dictate the flow of every individual game.
